So I met Obama this past week. I made sure to shake his and and he said, “Keep up the good work.” I took it not as a cliched canned interaction by a Senator that meets literally thousands of people who potentially “do good work”, but instead a value judgement based upon his in-depth knowledge of my work as an educator.
“Keep up the good work.”
I said, “Okay. Thank you for your time, Senator.”
I rock.
