Evelyn and dad went to see the poorly paced, but mildly amusing Arthur and the Invisibles Saturday night. The plot and dialogue were a bit too complicated for Evelyn and the slightly blurry screen at the Logan Theaterwas a bit too blurry for dad, but we had fun nonetheless.

Well…a lot, really. I just spent an awesome 4 days in NYC. I was able to visit 3 different KIPP Schools while there. I learned so much and was inspired to push my students even further. I was also able to spend the rest of the weekend with my awesome friends Katie and Brian McMullen. I love them. I love their dog too.

It was fun.

Evelyn is so big. She’s in a Spanish emersion preschool. She understands Spanish, I think. Ruby is large, whiny, runny nose, and cute. She says, “daddy” and “poop”. Chicago is cold.
