Please honor and remember all veterans out there. Whether they fought, died, or were injured, they all served you and were committed to giving their lives for their country. I know that’s not a popular sentiment nowadays, especially for the younger crowd, but I find “love of country” to be both natural and right. We love our moms because she’s ours, not because she’s better than anyone else, or the best mom in the world or something. Loving your country means the same thing as loving your mother too: love the good, help to change the bad. Either way, I hope we all remember and honor those who chose to put others before themselves.
