My response: Actually, one could say that playing counter strike is a way for people to escape from the real world, with all of it’s problems, and pains. i’ve jokingly said to myself after a crappy day, “ahh, and now for counter-strike, an escape from life”, but you know, there might have been a lot of truth in that. Depressed people often attempt to escape from their problems through some external means, a distraction if you will. for some it’s drugs, for others it’s suicide. Maybe some escape into counter-strike. It sounds hokey, but it could be true….
